It should be noted that all deceased members actually clawed their way
from their graves and dragged their rotting corpses to places where they
could add their names in grisly scrawls of righteous, gruesome protest.
An addendum to the petition suggested that, once departed, former mem-
bers would only consider a return when the talentless, pandering so-called
singer was summarily removed from every aspect of the hall and The Smiths,
Nick Cave, Joy Division and The Replacements were immediately inducted,
restoring the now tainted institution to a bare minimum measure of legitimacy.
